Professional Interests
 Theoretical investigations and modeling of nonlinear processes in physics of low-temperature plasma and gas lasers.
Specific interests include corona discharge devices, near-electrode phenomena, solvability of fluid models of glow discharge, and synergetical models in physics and psychology.

1982 - present   Lead. Scientist, Institute on Laser and Informatic Technologies of RAS.
Developed multidimensional numerical modeling of gas discharges at elevated pressure.
Conducted extensive research in physics of discharge, gasdynamic, and chemical lasers.
Developed a physical model of anode glow patterns in elevated-pressure gas discharges.
Proved global existence of weak solutions of the drift diffusion model for gas discharges.
Performed disharge plasma kinetical coefficients calculations for mixtures of excited molecules and atoms.
Developed design, mathematical method and software for infrared-luminescence diagnostics of CO2 active media.
